Programme
1. Theoretical training in mycelium-production
Biology: General mycology, microbiology, the engineering of fermentation processes in general, and more specifically of spawn production.
Sterilization: heat resistance of microorganisms and their spores, computation of the del-factor for the determination of the sterilization-time,...
GMP for cleanrooms: air quality classes (following the US Federal Standard 209 D), generation and maintenance of good quality overpressurized air, rules of conduct inside the cleanroom department etc... The trainee will be tought how to draft a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)- manual for cleanrooms for your specific lab.
