Hobby spawn
Growing mushrooms for ones own consumption is fun. After all, that is how this company got started in the first place and we remember our roots. Many people like having one or a few spawn or substrate kits at home and watch them grow; we have always offered them the opportunity to purchase these directly from us. Take a look at what we have under sales products.
Mycelia produces different spawn types for hobbyists and gardeners:
- plugs for the inoculation of wood loving mushrooms on logs of decidious trees
- grain spawn for the inoculation of Oyster Mushrooms and White Button Mushrooms on loose substrates
- straw spawn for the inoculation of Stropharia mushrooms
Hobby substrates
We also produce ready-to-use substrates for specialty mushrooms, which can also be ordered under sales products.

Guarantee: our spawn and substrates are freshly produced and kept in our cold store at 1-2°C untill they are shipped to our customers. In this way, we can guarantee the freshness of the mycelium, which is of vital importance to be successful in mushroom cultivation.
