Small-scale Mushroom Cultivation - 2
Small-scale Mushroom Cultivation - 2, Bram van Nieuwenhuijzen, Agrodok/CTA, 2007, 85 p.
This book is a basic and affordable manual for starting-up growers of Agaricus and Volvariella species. It has been specifically designed to fit the needs of growers in developing countries, where circumstances are often difficult. A similar manual for growing lignivorous mushrooms such as Shiitake and Oyster Mushrooms should be still in the making.
This book is part of the Agrodok-series, a series of books designed and written by the Agromisa Foundation. This foundation is closely linked to Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands and aims to exchange knowledge on small-scale sustainable agriculture and related topics.
The CTA, which helped funding this edition, is the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation and is funded by the EU.
