Pleurotus Ostreatus M 2181 spawn substrate Mycelia

Qualities:

  • rapidly growing species 
  • very high yield 
  • excellent quality of the fruit bodies

Characteristics:

Overall, M 2181 is comparable to M 2191, so it also appears as a typical Pleurotus ostreatus, but is known for fruiting more very heavily in less numerous clusters shaded grey-blue (temperature below 15°C) to grey-brown. These are big, thick (diam. 8 à 12 cm) and short-stemmed.  They are very tasty and they preserve well.
